At the European Neuropathy Foundation, we are committed to supporting individuals affected by neuropathy. We provide a range of resources and services to help improve the quality of life for those living with this condition. Our approach is centered on promoting equality and creating opportunities for all individuals impacted by neuropathy.
Founders
After twenty-five years together in Neuropelveology — Marc as a surgeon and pioneer, and Silke as the constant presence who lived every challenge and every patient story by his side — we understood that our shared experience carries a responsibility: to give back, to teach, and to change destinies.
Although Silke is not a physician, her years of involvement, intuition, and daily exchange with Marc have shaped an understanding of patients and their suffering that no formal training can provide. Marc often says it openly: she has become the finest neuropelveologist he knows — not by title, but by heart and experience. The European Neuropathy Foundation was born from this shared journey. It is our way of transforming decades of knowledge, compassion, and hard-earned insight into something greater — a place where patients are understood, where innovation continues, and where hope can take form. Together, we dedicate the ENF to those whose lives can be changed when science, expertise, and humanity come together.

SCIENTIFIC ADVISORY BOARD
The Scientific Board of the European Neuropathy Foundation is composed of the members of the International Society of Neuropelveology (ISON).
ISON brings together leading clinicians, surgeons, researchers, and academic experts dedicated exclusively to pelvic nerve disorders, ensuring that the Foundation’s work is grounded in world-class science and rigorous medical standards.
The members of the Scientific Advisory Board are highly experienced clinicians and surgeons specializing in advanced gynecologic surgery, pelvic oncology, the management of severe endometriosis, and the emerging field of Neuropelveology. Their expertise spans the full spectrum of pelvic nerve disorders, united by a common commitment: to provide patients with accurate diagnosis, science-based treatment options, and compassionate, innovative care.
As part of the International Society of Neuropelveology (ISON), these international experts work closely with the European Neuropathy Foundation to advance research, elevate medical standards, and support the development of clinical studies—both within the Society and across specialized centers worldwide. Their engagement represents one of the key scientific pillars of the Foundation.
